CURRY BEAR

The Sri Lankans have managed to make it to the Cricket World Cup Finals. They will play against Australia, a team that has not lost any of it’s matches in the tournament. It’s Black vs. White people. In the world of Cricket, the Aussies are like the Yankees, except that they never lose. In the past 4 World Cups, Australia has always entered the Final. In 1996, Australia played Sri Lanka, but Sri Lanka won. In 1999 Australia played Pakistan and won. In 2003, Australia played India and won. Curry Bear is really excited that a South Asian team has made it all the way to the finals. Hopefully if Sri Lanka wins the match, the terrorist attacks by the Tamil Tigers may stop for a day or two. However, Sri Lanka has a tough task ahead. They played Australia before and lost; the Aussies never crack under pressure. Although C-Bear would like to see Sri Lanka win, he doesn’t see it happening unless they play the match after dark (you know…so you can’t see the Sri Lankan players).

Best of luck to Sri Lanka from Curry Bear. If Sri Lanka wins, Curry Bear is going there for a vacation.
