Singh Is King Trailer
There are very few movies C-Bear is looking forward to from Bollywood this summer. However, Singh Is King is something I’ve been very eager to see. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a sardar hero in a Bollywood movie. It’s about time someone made a movie like this. I can already imagine all the Sikh people I know trying to copy Akshay Kumar’s style in this movie and every Bhangra competition this year will have at least one song from the movie. In fact, Snoop Dogg did a track with Akshay Kumar for this movie and after hearing the soundtrack, I must say that the music is awesome.
Here’s the basic plot of Singh Is King: A baddie in Australia, who is originally from a village in India, has given the village a bad name. Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) vows to go to Australia and bring the guy back to the village and give its name back. Of course, along the way he meets hottie Katrina Kaif and then song and dance ensues. The end.
lmao “I’m Happy…I’m Happy” Also: the title song (bas ek King?) is catchy! I kept playing it over and over and over in my conservative Guju dad’s car mwahahaha.
Btw there was a movie about a Sardar before: Jo Bole Sonihaal! Perhaps insulting if you’re Punjabi, but damn Sunny Deol was hilarious.

I really like the songs of this movie and am so excited to see the Snoop Dogg and Akshay Kumar music video for the title track…

Sunny Deol is a horrible actor, so he purposely makes these racist indian movies for ticket sales. Indian watch it for patriotism, and pakis watch it to see what they say about them. So it’s a good marketing strategy.
i don’t like the songs from this movie… im really not feelin snoop’s song. his verse is weak and sounds like he almost didn’t take it seriously. i wonder how much they paid him..
RDB could’ve done a better job as well.. and akshay should stick to acting only.

and this other daler mehndi song from the movie is shitty as hell too.. bhootni ke?!? if they really wanted to make a baller sardar movie they shouldve had my boy lehmber hussainpuri sing a few tracks along with malkit and gurdas maan
