CURRY BEAR

Since the year was ending, CB felt it was time to look back and reflect on the year. Curry Bear has done a review on the best shows of 2007. This whole month of December Curry Bear will be doing “Best of 2007″ articles. So keep reading and look to see if your favorite show got awarded “The Best Shows of 2007″

1. How I Met Your Mother.
This show, without a doubt in my mind, is one of the funniest shows on the air. The show is a love story in reverse. The story is about how Ted meets the mother of his two kids. A lot of you desi people may not know of this concept because most of our parents meet at their ristha. The writing on this show is hip, funny, and sincere. This show has a great cast and season 2 and 3 have been really funny. If you get the chance please pick up season 1 and 2 of this show on DVD.

2. The Office
Now if How I Met Your Mother is the funniest show on TV, then the office is a close second. In fact it is more like a tie. This show is superbly funny. The writing on this show is funny and edgy. This season they took a lot of the lime light off Michael Scott and on to other characters. Even Kelly Kapoor became interesting this season. In fact she is one of my favorite characters on the show now. The other thing I like about this show is at times they would go through things that I myself have experienced at work. Shows are even funnier when you find them relatable.

3. House
Dr. House is the bad ass, drug abusing, foul mouth doctor from New Jersey. What is not to love about this show? This year House lost his entire staff and had to re-staff. Not only was it fun to see Dr. House imitate reality shows when picking his team, but it was fun to see who would actually make it as his staff. Curry Bear was very please to know that Kal Penn made it onto the show. Along with number 13, who is the super hot girl from the Dashboard Confessional song, “Stolen”. Yeah she has stolen my heart too.

4. Entourage
If you ever want to know how the guys from DesiDanceTeams.com live. You need to watch entourage. Yeah I see you guys prancing around your little DDT cards, living it up like little celebrities. Next time you are toasting to the good life, just remember it was Curry Bear who first told people to go to your site after his kickass reviews. Anyways back to the review, this season was not as good as the last few but still had some great moments. For example: the guys shooting the kick-ass movie in Columbia, which turned out to be crappy. Also guest spots like Anna Farris, and Kanye West helped a lot too. If only Curry Bear could reveal his secret identity then maybe he too could get invited to awesome TCNJ parties.

5. Rescue Me
There are only three bad asses on TV. Jack Bauer, Dr. House, and Tommy Gavin. Rescue me is one of the best shows you are not watching. Mostly because it’s on FX and no one has that blasted channel. The show is about a team of firemen, saving lives, and talking a lot of bullshit. This show has great dialogue and jokes. This show also has the dirtiest and funniest insults then any other show out there. Not to mention the two characters, Garrity and Mike are hilarious. Also when you see how fucked up Tommy Gavin’s life is, you will start to like your own life alot more.
