Rocky Balboa
Release Date: December 20, 2006
Run Time: 1 hr. 42 min.
Rating: PG – boxing violence and some language
Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Burt Young, Milo Ventimiglia
Director: Sylvester Stallone
Genre: Drama
Synopsis: The greatest underdog story of our time is back for one final round of the Academy Award-winning Rocky franchise. Former heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa steps out of retirement and back into the ring, putting himself against a new rival in a dramatically different era. After a virtual boxing match declares Rocky Balboa the victor over current champion Mason “The Line” Dixon, the legendary fighter’s passion and spirit are reignited. But when his desire to fight in small, regional competitions is trumped by promoters calling for a rematch of the cyber-fight, Balboa must weigh the mental and physical risks of a high profile exhibition match against his need to be in the ring. Also in this movie is Milo Ventimiglia who plays Peter on Heroes. This is a guy’s movie; ladies take your man to see this movie to make up for taking him to go see “The Fountain”. This is also a good movie to relive the 80’s.

However, this wont be your only taste of the decade of bad hair. Other movies from the 80’s that are coming back are “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Die Hard 4”, and “Rambo 4”. Maybe after this movie, superhero movies will be out, and we might be bringing the 80’s back.
